Species description: Perennial herb 0.6-2 m, with a creeping rhizome. Stems tout, ercet, usually simple. Leaflets 5-13, 5-16 x 1-1.5 cm, oblong to oblong-lanceolate, acuminate, acutely serrate. . Stipules conspicious, more or less ovate. Inflorescence 5-16 cm in diameter, corymbose, with 3(-4) primary rays. Corolla white, rarely pinp outside. Anthers purple. Fruit globose, black.
